About
us
Honky Tonks, the music group for pre-nursery
children, is going from strength to strength.
Due to increased demand Honky Tonks have just
opened new sessions in Potters Bar on Mondays, at the Wyllyotts Center.
Honky Tonks was established in January 1996 in Radlett
and Shenley, to provide a fun and friendly environment for young children
to enjoy music, nursery rhymes and explore musical instruments.
During
the summer of 1996 Honky Tonks was approached by Hertsmere Leisure,
Arts Development to go into partnership to run sessions in Borehamwood
and Potters Bar. These sessions proved to be a great success and in response
to strong demand and in an effort to increase its coverage within Hertsmere
Honky Tonks opened sessions in Bushey from September 1997 Currently
Honky Tonks provides over 230 children per week with their special
brand of musical orientation. Honky Tonks have also branched out
into birthday parties and private sessions for nursery and other infant
groups.
